Silver medal
Pont Packaging Group is proud to share the results of our latest annual carbon footprint assessment, carried out by environmental reporting specialist Greenly.
For the 2024 reporting year, Pont Packaging Group has been given a Silver Medal, marking a clear improvement on our 2023 result, where we achieved a Bronze Medal.
This progress reflects the ongoing work across our European teams to reduce emissions and improve the sustainability of the packaging solutions we supply.
Continuous improvement across the group
Each year we partner with Greenly to independently calculate our corporate carbon footprint. The 2024 assessment included a broader scope than previous years, incorporating the use of recycled and bio-based materials within the calculation methodology.
Greenly issued a report, certificate and medal for each entity, as well as a consolidated group result for Pont Europe.

Supporting customers with responsible packaging choices
Reducing our own emissions is only part of the journey. We recognise our crucial role in helping customers move toward more responsible sustainable packaging formats. Increasing the availability of recycled and bio-based materials, improving design efficiency and supporting compliance with upcoming European regulations remain key priorities.
These results confirm that steady, measurable improvements are being achieved across the organisation, while reinforcing our commitment to transparency through independent reporting.
The 2024 Greenly Silver Medal is an encouraging milestone, and we will continue working across all Pont Packaging locations to further reduce emissions and strengthen sustainable packaging solutions in the years ahead.
